About the Department

Applied Science & Humanities is a pioneer branch of science that relies on the application of persisting scientific knowledge to develop more practical applications, including inventions and other technological advancements. The department aims for the holistic development of the students and prepares student for higher studies and for industries by imparting knowledge about fundamental facts of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Professional Communication, Humanities and other engineering subjects. The course taught by the teachers of this department lays the foundation of engineering sciences. The aim is to enhance the understanding of Physics and Chemistry of students which is essential for several engineering subjects like mechanics, electronics, electrical engineering and engineering materials. Mathematics is the backbone of all the fields of engineering. Professional communication is of particular importance for improving the vocal and writing skills of the students. The department facilitates time to time counselling of the students towards personality enhancement and motivates professional attitude amongst the students. Our department has highly proficient and knowledgeable faculty along-with well equipped laboratories. This department facilitates the future engineers to develop a practical, scientific and social attitude.
