About the Department

Department of Computer Science has been established in Dr. Shakuntala Mishra National Rehabilitation University, Mohaan Road, Lucknow, in the year 2015, with the objective of imparting quality education in the field of Computer Science keeping in pace with rapidly evolving technology and the continuous need for innovation. The Department started Master of Computer Applications (MCA) a three-year (six semesters) professional Master's Degree. The course is designed to meet the growing demand for qualified professionals in the field of Information Technology. It is a postgraduate course that can be taken up after obtaining a Bachelor's Degree. The MCA programme is inclined more toward Application Development and thus has more emphasis on latest programming language and tools to develop better and faster applications. Department of Computer Science has strong research interests in diverse branches of Computer Science and offers a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Programme aimed at producing quality researchers.
