About the Department

The Department of Management has been established in academic year 2011-12 with a view to provide accessible and quality higher education in an inclusive mode in barrier-free infrastructural and educational environment to create a world class centre for excellence in management education for fast growing domestic and global business needs. With this objective, Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program of two years duration was started in 2011.

The department currently offers MBA course in the fields of Marketing, HR & Finance. The course curriculum has been designed in such a manner which balances the theoretical knowledge with the practical skills providing upcoming managers an environment which will enhance their professional skills. Syllabus up-gradation of Management Course on periodical basis is undertaken to meet the international standards. Our students deal with Case Studies of Harvard Business School and IIMs etc. The second batch of the MBA would be passing-out in Jun'2014.The department has well furnished Library providing book bank facility to students of all semester.

Associate Professor

Dr. Panchali Singh has twelve years of teaching experience. Her area of interest is Human Resource Management. She has presented research papers in national and international seminars on motivation, Leadership, Communication skill, Interpersonal Behaviour etc. She is also a member of All India Institute of Management Association, New Delhi She is a Law graduate with Post Graduate in Management. She also qualified UGC-NET and UP SLET examination in Management in June 2004.She completed her Doctorate from Dr.R.M.L.Avadh University, Faizabad.

Dr Nagendra Yadav has done is Graduation from G B Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand; MBA From MJPRU, Bareilly and PhD from MGKVP Varanasi. He has more than 16 yrs of experience including one yr Industrial Experience. He has contributed about 25 research articles in various international and national level of journals and presented various papers in national and international conferences. He has completed two research projects funded by Distance Education Council, New Delhi and UPRTOU, Allahabad. He has guided PhD scholars. He has been visiting faculty to many of the Govt. and Private Universities/ Institutes. He has been member advisory board to various academic Institutions.

Assistant Professor

Anu is presently working as a Lecturer with the Department of Management, UPVU Dr. Shakuntala Misra University, Lucknow since Jun, 2011. Prior to this, she was with the Board of Studies, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (Set up by an Act of Parliament), New Delhi as a faculty of Cost Accounting and Advanced Management Accoiunting. She has a rich Academics & Research experience of around six years in various areas of Commerce and Management. She taught various courses of the Commerce and Management; some of them are: Financial Management, Cost Accounting, International Financial Management and Financial Derivative, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management.

She completed her graduation (B.Com with Computer Applications) and PG degree (M.Com.) from M. D. University, Rohtak and M. Phil. from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. During her studies at UG/PG level, she was a university rank holder. Later on, she also qualified UGC-NET examination in June 2006. Currently she is pursuing Ph.D. (Management) with Gautam Buddha University, Greater NOIDA in the area of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs). Her area of research is IFRSs, Stock Market and Financial Derivatives etc. She has 6 publications in various acclaimed International/National Journals and Proceedings of the reputed International/National Conferences.

Mr.Nishant Bhola holds double post-graduate degree in Management and Commerce. He has also qualified NET examination in Management and Commerce. His areas of specialization are Banking, Financial Management, Cost Accounting and Taxation. He has more than Nine years of work experience in which three years are in a Bank looking as fund and investment management and Six years as management faculty engaged in imparting education in various management subjects. He is Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (C.A.I.I.B.). He is life member of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF), Mumbai. The Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India, Kolkata has awarded him Rank and Certificate of Merit for its examinations. He is a motivational speaker and always encourages his students by his motivational speech.
