About the Department

The Department of Microbiology, Dr Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University, Lucknow, is a premier centre for study of microbiological research. The Department was established in the year 2015 with an intake of 40 students in M.Sc. Microbiology (50% seats are reserved for physically challenged students). With a view to encourage research based teaching and applied learning, a world class infrastructure has been established in the university campus.
